Ewa Bujak, M.M.

Violin/Viola

Born in Krakow, Poland, violinist and violist EWA BUJAK received her Master’s Degree in performance from Wyzsza Szkola Muzyczna in Warsaw. She has played with the Orchestra of the Lyric Opera of Warsaw, Veracruz Symphony, Mexico City Philharmonic, and Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute Orchestra where she worked with such conductors as Michael Tilson-Thomas, Kurt Masur, Klaus Tennstedt, and Leonard Bernstein. She later studied with the legendary violinist Camilla Wicks in Ann Arbor, and with Roland Vamos at the University of Minnesota, where she received Suzuki Pedagogy Training and completed a Master of Music degree in Viola Performance. In addition to St. Joseph’s School of Music, Bujak is on the faculty of Concordia University, having previously taught for many years at St. Catherine University. Her students have been winners of numerous competitions and members of Minnesota Youth Symphonies and Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.
