Private lessons for beginners to advanced students, taking into consideration past musical experience. Emphasis is on reading, understanding of musical fundamentals, rhythmic and technical control, with concentration on self-expression and interpretation of different styles.

Open to all ages with an emphasis on breathing and support, embouchure, intonation, fingering, tonguing, tone quality, reading, and general musicianship. As technique is acquired, repertoire is expanded.

Vocal training for beginners to advanced is directed toward correct placement and quality of tone, breathing and support, diction, intonation, and general musicianship. Advanced students continue technical training and develop repertoire.

Basic guitar includes chords, strumming, picking, and melody. The advanced player continues work on reading, perfects more difficult guitar techniques and studies music theory. A repertoire is developed from the classical and/or popular areas of guitar literature.

Ukulele lessons can be supplemental to guitar lessons or are offered as a dedicated course of study. Lessons include strumming, learning chords, and preparing songs with or without singing.

Open to all levels, private lessons emphasize high standards of technique, reading, intonation, coordination, listening, memorization, musical expression, interpretation, and musicianship.
