LAURIE DEHMLOW has been teaching at St. Joseph's School of Music since 1989. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education for grades K-12, a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, and specialty training in Early Childhood, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and Kodaly Certification Level I. Dehmlow has performed in musical theater and dinner theatre productions, oratorios, chamber operas, and recitals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. At St. Joseph's School of Music she teaches Music Discovery, the First Steps program, voice classes for children, and private voice for all ages. In addition to teaching at St. Joe’s, Dehmlow teaches at Steppingstone Theatre, Children's Theatre, Blessed Trinity Catholic School, and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. In her free time she and her husband enjoy ice dancing, horses, and dogs.
