VICTORIA ATHMANN has been teaching music for over twenty years. With a background in piano, cello, violin, and viola, she continued her education and professional development as a violinist. Ms. Athmann is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where she received a degree in Violin Performance with a minor in Women's Studies, and performed with the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra. While studying at Mannes College of Music in New York, Ms. Athmann was instructed by Yuri Vodovoz, and was coached in chamber music by the Alaria String Trio.
Most recently Victoria taught at Austin School of Music in Texas. While there she began and directed a summer chamber music camp, was the concertmaster of the Austin Philharmonic, a section player of the Temple Symphony, and a violinist/violist with Musical Discovery Chamber Players. Having returned to Minnesota, Victoria maintains an active performance schedule and is a devoted teacher of all levels.
